Confirmation Program
As a sign of God’s love to the candidate and the community, the Sacrament of Confirmation and its preparation calls the participants to reflect further on their relationship and experience with Jesus Christ in their lives.
During the process, candidates are further introduced to our Christian community and strengthened for discipleship by participating in Confirmation classes, Reconciliation during Advent and Lent, retreats, service projects, and parish community involvement. The age for Confirmation varies throughout the Archdiocese of Newark. Here at Sacred Heart Confirmation is a two year program; Confirmation Prep I (7th grade) and Confirmation Prep II (8th grade). Confirmation is celebrated in the spring of eighth grade. View our Confirmation Handbook for more detailed information. |

Service projects provide an opportunity for you to realize the value of building a more just and peaceful world through your service to others.
There are many different ways you can help others. View a list of various activities you can participate in right here at Sacred Heart. If you have any other ideas, please let us know!
Please keep track of your service hours. You will be required to log your hours using Track it Forward.
