Children's Liturgy Of The Word
During our 10:00 Mass, children in kindergarten through fifth grade are invited to their own Liturgy of the Word in the lower Church Hall. The children's liturgy leader presents the Scriptures to the children at their level and how it pertains to them in their own life. After the Universal Prayer the children return to the main church and join Father Rich on the altar for the Liturgy of the Eucharist.
Volunteer opportunities:
Please fill out our sign-up form if you are interested in volunteering.
Note to parents: We will welcome children in kindergarten to 5th grade. Although we would love to invite children of all ages, it is not appropriate for younger or older children to attend due to the content and activities being geared to these students, as well as the larger volume of children. We appreciate your cooperation regarding this matter. Parents are always welcome to observe.

Catholic Youth Organization Basketball (CYO)
Sacred Heart CYO basketball is a program which is both instructional and competitive for parish children who attend Faith Formation ranging from 3rd through 8th grade. The children have weekly practices in the Sage school gym and play a competitive schedule against other catholic parishes in Bergen County. All participants must be registered and attend faith formation classes at Sacred Heart Church, with tuition paid in full. We are looking to fill team levels 3/4 through varsity HS. There is no guarantee that there will be a team for some age groups. All depends on how many register. |
